Here's a story I wrote in like, second grade...I was messing with my documents and I happened to find it. Its like a spoof of the varactle in the third Star Wars (most people know it as "The lizard-thing Obi-Wan rides on") Enjoy!

     
Snooky was a two-day old varactle, but she was different from all the other varactles. Snooky had wings!
Snooky's mother was a varactle named Boga, and her father was a dactillion. So, since her father had wings and her mother had feathers, Snooky was born with feathery wings. Although the combination between her mother and father Snooky was the only baby in the litter who had wings.
Anyway on with the story; Snooky was out exploring one day when she came across a dozing dactillion. "Hellooo" she squeaked "Are you alive?" "What do you want you little rat" The dactillion
moaned. "I wanna play! And I'm not a rat I'm Snooky!" Snooky snapped. "Go do a couple of laps round that sinkhole over there will ya?" The dactillion snarled as he dozed off again. Snooky gave him a sneer and padded off.
Snooky went looking around Utpau for hours and didn't find anyone to play with. Eventually, she headed home. "Well, you could go play with your brothers and sisters." Her mother said softly. Snooky pondered this for a moment. "I could, but Gico will ignore me, Lyle will just sit there and eat mud, Taroe will chew his feathers off, and Salla will only try to fly when she knows she can't. But maybe Sliko will pay attention to me, no all he'll do is bury himself with big rocks and cry Mommy help!" And as soon as Snooky stopped talking, Taroe came running in, his mouth full of what looked like his own feathers. "Mommy mommy!" he cried "I can't feel my tail, its got somthin' stuck in it. Taroe was right, the end of his tail, (Which normally had feathers but he chewed them all off) was a large spike. "Were you playing with the poison urchins again, Taroe?" His mother asked. "Maaybe" he lied. "What on earth is going on here?" Snooky's father just flew in the cave.  "Well dear, Taroe has something stuck in his tail and it doesn't want to come out." Boga crooned as she lightly pulled on the spike. Taroe was wailing loudly. Snooky watched in amazement. She had never seen something so...stuck. She eventually decided to go find her brothers and sisters.
Just like usual, Salla was trying to fly, Lyle was eating mud, and Sliko was under a pile of rocks. All that was seen of him was his paw, which seemed to be grabbing handfuls of air. Snooky rolled her eyes and helped him out. "Thanks Ooky" Sliko said. "Its Snooky not Ooky, Sliko" Snooky said back agitated. "Okay Ooky" and Sliko went off. "Ugh," Snooky sighed, "I must be the luckiest varactle in the whole world to have a brother as stupid as Sliko."
